05/21/2010 - Toronto, ON (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Toronto FC returns to BMO Field on Saturday and actually has a road result to build on as it looks to remain perfect at home.
Toronto split its first six matches this season, winning all three at home and losing all three on the road.
Last week, Toronto earned its first road result with a 0-0 tie against the Los Angeles Galaxy, who still had U.S. players Landon Donovan and Edson Buddle, in southern California.
"They played hard, they were very well-organized and we had to make a play to make a difference in the game and we didn't," said L.A. coach Bruce Arena, who has led his team to eight wins and two draw through 10 games.
New England, which defeated Toronto 4-1 earlier this year at Gillette Stadium, heads to Canada on a six-game winless streak that dates back to that win April 10.
Toronto's home form has been incredibly better than on the road, but it enters this weekend's match without its two most influential players.
Dwayne De Rosario, who has played a role in nine of Toronto's 11 goals, is out this week on international duty for Canada in preparation of a match against Argentina.
TFC will miss his six goals and three assists, and is also without midfielder Julian de Guzman, who is sidelined with a hamstring injury.
Chad Barrett and O'Brian White will need to replace De Rosario's scoring, and goalie Stefan Frei and Toronto's defense needs another strong performance.
New England has lost four of its six games since its win over Toronto, and has one win and three losses on the road. Shalrie Joseph made his lone start and appearance in the win over Toronto, and his absence has hindered the Revs.
The Revolution earned their second draw in their last four games last weekend, 0-0 against the San Jose Earthquakes, and hope to build on that against TFC.
"I think all we've got to do is just continue what we've been doing the last game. Last two games," New England midfielder Sainey Nyassi said, according to the league's website. "I think we've really stepped up our game. We've got to be so loose and play as a team.
"And hopefully if we get that, we might get something."
